  • Yes any piece of art made by Saul is signed on the back along with the title and the date it was made. Saul believes a signature on the front distracts from the work. Some pieces that will benefit from being framed behind glass after purchase, like the Tiny Abstracts and various Plein Air Paintings, have been signed along the bottom edge to allow them to be float mounted if desired.

  • Float mounting is where a piece of foam board is fixed in between the artwork and the mount board, in the process of framing something behind glass. The artwork is then raised up from the background and has the appearance of ‘floating’ in its frame.
